Graveside Services for Mrs. Gay B. Trice, age 82 of Calera, will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Bro. Larry Smith officiating.

Gay B. Trice, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on October 26th 2024, surrounded by her family. Born on May 13th 1942, Gay lived a life shaped by her hard work, dedication and love to her family and others.
Affectionately known as Granny to all, she loved Alabama football, time spent with family, and her love of gardening. She was an avid reader, rocking on the porch and also enjoyed puzzles. She was frequently known to sit back and dote on her furry companion Fancy.
She is survived by daughters Pamela Turnbloom, Crystal Williams (Roger), stepdaughters Lisa Holmes (Tom) and Penny Jones; her grandchildren: Rachel (Adam) Hannon, Jaida (Andrew) Torrez, Jordan Bryant Williams, Jencyn Bryant Williams; great-grandchildren Lane, Lincoln, Saylor and Aiden, as well as a host of others.
She was preceded in death by her mother Forest Lanelle Bryant, sisters Peggy Barnett, Jane Smith, and Barbara Cushman.
Rest in peace, Granny.
