Adria “Mike” Palmer Ellis was born to James and Margaret Palmer on July 15, 1949. Adria was a resident of Trussville, AL and passed away on July 14, 2018.
She was a graduate of Phillips High School in Birmingham. She also graduated from Sanford, where she received her BS; she also graduated from the University of Alabama, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she received two Masters. She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Moody, AL.
She retired as a Behavior Specialist from Shelby County Schools. There will be a visitation held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, July 18th.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 19th at 1:00 p.m. also at the church. Adria is survived by her loving husband, Joe Ellis; her two daughters, Rebekah Probst (Eric) and Rachel Dickinson (Mitch); a sister, Ginger Williams (Nash); grandchildren, Margaret, Emily, Abby, Lief, Ella and Abel. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
